Dangote Foundation, Govt. Provide N400 Million Micro Grant to Women!

The Dangote Foundation is partnering with the Lagos State Ministry of Women Affairs and Poverty Alleviation to distribute N400 million micro grants to women in the state.

Commissioner for Women Affairs and Poverty Alleviation, Mrs. Lola Akande who disclosed this at a press briefing on the activities of her ministry in the last one year, said, “Dangote Foundation will handle everything. N400 million would be distributed to women as micro grant and each woman will collect 10,000.”

She explained that the money was expected to help the beneficiaries to carry out economic activities they had learnt from the various women empowerment skills that her ministry had taught them.
