Hello Everyone, recently, some Nigerian Christian Journalists came to me with questions about my messages that expose the falsehood in the Nigerian church. They asked me some questions and I gave them answers. I will like to share both the questions and the answers I gave with you my friends, fans and followers.

Question 8
What should be the duties of the ordinary Christian in the Church of God?
Answer
Ordinary Christians shouldn’t have much duty in the church. The duty of Christians is supposed to be outside the church. The bible didn’t tell the christian to come and sit down. It said, “go ye therefore”.
God wants the church members to constantly be on the go. Pastors should be teaching members how to go and reflect Christ and the love of God to the world around them. And the bible didn’t say we should be the light of the church, but the light of the world. We are supposed to be the salt not to ourselves but the salt of the society and environment where we are in.
These are the things we should emphasize. The church is a place where pastors and leaders are supposed to empower and equip and release believers to help them become who God wants them to be, to raise them from a being a child to becoming a son for God. Because it’s when they are sons they would be able to become a blessing to the world around them. Children are concerned about their own needs, Sons are concerned about the needs of others.
Even though people can still do what I call in my book “Churchshift“, the house keeping duties. Housekeeping duties such as serving in the church. But that is nothing, that is not the main duty of Christians. That’s like home keeping.
When you wake up in the morning, you clean your house, make your bed, but then you still have to go to work because that’s where you are getting fulfillment, your reward is earned after you have gone to work. You are not rewarded for keeping your bed. This is what I call housekeeping chores such as singing in choir, ushering, teaching Sunday school etc. You don’t get rewarded by God for doing that. You get rewarded by the way you live your Christian life everyday outside the four walls of the church.
