“I Was A Pastor In Bishop Oyedepo’s Winners Chapel For 10 Years & I knew God Would Raise Someone Up To Correct Them”

Dear Sir,

Please note that a lot of people in Nigeria have been waiting for someone like you to take Christianity to the next level as you are doing right now. I pray for the sustainability of your zeal and plan.

What you are doing now, and planning to do in Nigeria I believe will eventually spread across Africa. This mission can be likened to the German protestant church reformation of 1571 led by Martin Luther.

I am 54-years old now, and have been born again for about 30-years. To be precise, during this period of time, I studied Kenneth Hagin ministries materials which has blessed me so much. If I were to grade my Christian walk, I will score myself about 40% in trying to put my Christian knowledge into practice, and achieving success in my academic career and life calling. I know I can achieve better and desire more.

Like many born again Christians, I have always believed that I can do more for myself and my community. I was trained in the University as a Petroleum Engineer (M.sc) and also know that I have a calling to pastoral ministry. I worked in the oil industry for about 12 years and attained the position of a Senior Petroleum Engineering Manager. I was a Pastor in Bishop Oyedepo’s Winners Chapel for about 10-years. While working in Winners chapel, I saw a lot of the things you have been talking about and I knew God would raise someone up to correct them.

I relocated to the United States with my family to attend Rhema Bible training institute after pastoring for 10 years because I needed an environment of truth and honesty which I believe represents the foundation for a Christian life and ministry work; which is totally absent in the Nigerian Christian environment as of today.

I especially commend your decision not to join what I call the elite ministers in Nigeria. I know a lot of these pastors admire you and expected that you’ll join them in enslaving people, keeping them in babyhood stage of Christianity, instead of training and developing them to spiritual maturity, which is what you are advocating for.

PLEASE BE ASSURED THAT FROM THE EXPERIENCE OF PEOPLE LIKE US IN THE WORK OF MINISTRY IN NIGERIA, MILLIONS OF PEOPLE ARE WAITING TO BE HELPED TO MOVE THEIR LIFE TO THE NEXT LEVEL OF SUCCESS, THROUGH THE PRACTICE OF PRACTICAL CHRISTIANITY, AS I HAVE HEARD YOU ESPOUSED IN A LOTS OF YOUR TEACHINGS AND BOOKS.

I STRONGLY SUGGEST A PLAN FOR THE INSTITUTIONALIZATION OF YOUR IDEAS SUCH AS ESTABLISHMENT OF SCHOOLS FROM PRIMARY TO UNIVERSITY LEVEL, AMONGST OTHER PLANS.

LET GOD’S KIND OF LOVE BE THE HEARTBEAT AND THE FOUNDATION OF ALL YOU DO. MAY GOD CONTINUALLY STRENGTHEN AND GRANT YOU WISDOM AS YOU TAKE STEPS TO EXECUTE THE NIGERIAN, AFRICAN AND WHAT I WILL CALL THE BLACKMAN PROJECT TO LAY THE FOUNDATION FOR APPLYING TRUE CHRISTIANITY, AND TO RESOLVE THE DEVELOPMENTAL CHALLENGES IN AFRICA, AS IT IS ACHIEVED IN THE DEVELOPED WORLD.
