HOW TO DEVELOP YOUR SPIRIT MAN TO BECOME SHARPER AND MORE RECEPTIVE?

…Unfortunately, because of the limitation of the mind, we only get to possess the little fragments our mind understands, out of all things that have been given unto us in the spirit. Our mind is the major player in the game of life. It holds the key to our destiny. That is why one of the most important things you can ever do in life is to dedicate yourself to self-education. Self-education is the ultimate education. To stop studying after school, is to put a lid on your destiny. The mind must be continuously developed if we are to make any significant progress in life.

“Of all the things that can have an effect on your future, I believe personal growth is the greatest. We can talk about sales growth, profit growth, asset growth, but all of this probably will not happen without personal growth.” –Jim Rohn

In the case of developing the mind, we simply need to read as much as possible, especially in the area of our callings and interests. Developing our spirit however to better relate with the spirit of God is much more complex. Developing the mind does not take more than what all great men and woman did to develop themselves.

“A mind needs books as a sword needs a whetstone, if it is to keep its edge.” ― George R.R. Martin.

It depends primarily on hard work, studying, reading and reading again. On the other hand, to make your spirit man to be sharp enough, to download what God’s Spirit is giving, you might need some basic suggestions.

There are a few exercises that would help develop the ability of your spirit man to be sharper and be more effectively in tune with the Spirit realm. So that you might have better access through your spirit to the depth of God’s wisdom.

1. Prayers provides an opportunity for the spirit man to go into interaction with the Spirit of God thereby being in the position to receive from God’s Spirit.

“God, our Creator, has stored within our minds and personalities, great potential strength and ability. Prayer helps us tap and develop these powers.” – A. P. J. Abdul Kalam

2. Meditation on the word of God could quicken the spirit man to recognize God’s word from God’s Spirit more effectively.

3. A state of peace, stillness, will enable our spirit to receive less pressure from the outside world. Thereby opening us up into a more focused relationship with God’s spirit.

4. When we fast, we deprive our bodies of some of the nourishments it is used to. When we are not supplying food into our system, our flesh is less active, so also are its dictates and influences on us. Thereby, allowing our spirit to have an upper hand upon our mind and over our flesh.

“Periodic fasting can help clear up the mind and strengthen the body and the spirit.” – Ezra Taft Benson

5. For those who are baptized in the Holy Spirit. Speaking in tongues for a long period of time, activates the spirit, making it to be much easier to get a download of information from God’s Spirit to our spirit.

6. Music is another powerful instrument that the spirit world understands. Music could stimulate our spirit especially if that music is directed to worship and praise God.

7. Reading the Bible as the word of God is another effective way of causing our Spirit to come alive. The word of God is spirit and life. When we emerge ourselves in the word of God, it has a way of quickening our spirit, making us shaper to receive from God’s Spirit.

“A thorough knowledge of the Bible is worth more than a college education.” – Theodore Roosevelt
