(eng) Why Does God Take From Those Who Don’t Have And Give To Those Who Have?

(eng) During the last general elections in Nigeria, I still remember vividly the events that happened to me when I started writing articles about politics. A lot of people wrote to me out of genuine concern. They told me I shouldn’t get involved in politics. Many others said point blankly that as a Pastor, I should face my calling. . But one thing I’ll like you all to know is that whenever any issue at all affects God’s children, God is concerned as well. He is deeply concerned about the affairs of men on earth. And that is why I’ll not stop talking about issues that are keeping the children of God in bondage, needy, beggarly and poor. I’ll keep at it until God’s children are delivered. . We are all affected by money, no matter who we are or where we live or what we do. Money, like time, is a common denominator we share. Most people used the money to buy food this morning, which is necessary to sustain life, so they are intertwined whether we choose to believe it or not. . The money will affect your life. My theory is that if something is going to affect your life, it’s best to know as much as you can about it, most especially, God’s take on such matters. That’s why I’m glad you picked up this book. For you, this book may be about looking at old ideas and possibly finding new ideas for wealth. It may also be about a paradigm shift in your life. It may be about a transition as radical as the shift from the Industrial Age to the Information Age. It may be about defining a new financial path for your life. It may be about thinking more like a businessperson and investor rather than an employee living from paycheck to paycheck. Nevertheless, it will be very important for me to state clearly that this is not a get rich quick sort of write up. This is not one of those seven ways to make a million dollar tomorrow morning. This is also not about that miracle money thing most Christians expect today. This is not another book that is out to fuel your lottery mentality about wealth creation. . «No matter how great the talent or efforts, some things just take time. You can’t produce a baby in one month by getting nine women pregnant.» – Warren Buffett . Although, the time it will take you to achieve your financial goal is not something I’ll be able to state categorically. That depends solely on you. Meanwhile, if you diligently follow and obey the principles laid out in this book, sooner or later you’ll get to your promise land. You will be able to start from where you are with what you have. You will also realize the potential of little and God’s take on faithfulness to the little things. I know we live in a world today where our oatmeal is ready to eat in 60 seconds, our prescription lenses are ready to be picked up in 60 minutes, and our house can be built in 60 days. We are a culture that is used to getting what we want instantly. We aren’t used to working patiently, or waiting on anything – even a hamburger. . What we want today is the much more without the very little. We want the tip without the toil, the gain without the grind, the sweets without the sweat, the prize without the pain, and the perks without the perseverance. Today, duty, diligence, hard work, and attention to details are a rare commodity in any endeavor – whether it be at home, at work, or at church. . As you read through you will come to terms and fully understand why the rich are getting richer and the poor are getting poorer. More importantly, you will get to understand «Why God takes from those who don’t have and give to those who already have much?» . So, let’s get started!
