GIVING BIRTH TO YOUR DREAMS AND VISIONS. {PART 6}

ILLUSIONARY SERMONS THAT HINDER US FROM BIRTHING OUR DREAMS AND VISIONS.

In view of all that has been said above, it is the more very disturbing to hear most people in our generation say that they wish to accomplish their dreams without pain or suffering. Some preachers have actually taught that suffering is as a result of lack of faith. Some of this people regard pain as a sign that God is not in the project or God has not blessed your effort. The end result of this illusionary preaching is that Christians don’t want to go through any hard time before they see their dreams come to pass. That is why we don’t have innovators. We are no more heroes. We don’t have great accomplishments. No feats to our names.

“Discouragement and failure are of two of the surest stepping stones to success.” ― Dale Carnegie

Unfortunately today, as soon as people encounter difficulties big or small, they begin to have a second thought if this was the will of God or not. We have now come to look at hindrances, problems and difficulties on the path of our dreams as a sign that God is not in it. This has left people of our generation in a vegetable state. We cannot go through anything anymore. We don’t have the right to complain that the unbelievers are taking all the leadership positions all over the world. This is because they are not afraid of difficulties and pain. They work hard for their results. Often what we want to do, is name and claim without any need for sacrifice.

“There is no success without hardship” – Sophocles

In the real world however, things don’t work quite like that, there is process in giving birth to dreams. That process must be followed. The rules must be observed. Giving birth to anything precious will involve pain, suffering and endurance. If you really want to live a lasting legacy for yourself, be ready to put in all it takes.  Hard work, pain, sorrow, labor and even fights.

“You can’t just sit there and wait for people to give you that golden dream. You’ve got to get out there and make it happen for yourself.” ― Diana Ross

One of the reasons we all tend to give up when we encounter challenges and difficulties on the path of fulfilling our dreams is that we have the wrong focus. Don’t ever focus on your pain, difficulties and challenges if you really want to fulfill your dreams. Take your eyes off that pain and focus on your end result. Lift your head up from your difficulties and start to meditate on the reward. Stop talking about your challenges, instead talk about the gains and the rewards you will get at the end of the day.

To be continued tomorrow with the topic
