History Makers Training – Questions & Answers

History Makers Training – Questions & Answers

1) What are the accommodation plans?

The plan for accommodation is to have as many attendees as possible stay in the training center which is also Dr. Sundays’ residency. However, space is limited and distributed based on a first come, first serve basis. We, therefore, encourage you to save your spot as soon as possible. Accommodation package rates are found in your email.

2) What are the details of the airport?

There are two airports to:

  1. Zhyliany (IEV) (40 min from accommodation place)
  2. Borispol (KBP) (1-hour 15 min to accommodation place)

Note that airport transfer, fro and to, is included in the accommodation packages.

3) My children and young adults, can they come?

This HMT requires your full attention and participation. Therefore, we discourage taking children with you that may divide that attention. However, we understand that sometimes things come up – so let us know and we will help to the best of our abilities.

4) I will like to know the cost per person.

The cost per person is listed in the registration form in your email.

5) I need a Visa. How do I go about this?

For visa requirements, please contact your local Ukraine consulate. If you require an invitation letter, please follow the instructions in your email.

6) What do I do if I need an invitation letter via mail or another format?

Letters are sent electronically only, unless specified. If another format is needed, please email us directly at hmt@godembassy.org. Note that additional cost will apply.

7) What about the cost for the invitation letter?

Please include a confirmation for the administration fee of $50 USD for the electronic copy of the letter in your email.

8) What should I wear?

In November, the cold weather sets in. We recommend bringing at least 1 warm outfit, including warm shoes, socks and a scarf. Note that most of the training will take place inside where it is well insulated and warm.

9) Do I need to bring anything for the teachings?

Yes, we recommend bringing a laptop or pen and writing pad as you will need to take a lot of notes.

Apart from that, be in good health, ready to be taught and to learn! 🙂

Snacks & refreshments will also be provided during the teachings, however, if you have any special cravings from home, feel free to take them with you.

10) Anything else to bring along for the program?

The accommodation at Dr. Sunday’s residence provides towels, so free space in your luggage for books you can buy here on-site at a discounted rate during the HMT.

11) Can I also buy the books online?

Yes, you buy books online by going to sundayadelajablog.com/shop , also you can order hard copies of the books by going to sundayadelajablog.com/books. If you have any specific questions in regards to books, please email dsasbooks@gmail.com, however, please do so after reviewing the form as the questions could be answered through it as well.

12) What about the local currency?

The local currency is UAH (pronounced “grivna”). We can help you exchange cash (Euros or Dollars) here on-site, at the residence.

13) What if I have more questions that are not answered in the emails or this Q&A?

Please feel free to send us an email: hmt@godembassy.org. We will strive to respond to your message within 24 hours.
