Thursday’s Nuggets From Pastor Sunday.

NOT BY YOUR WORKS:

• Some people think they can earn God’s grace by doing good deeds.
• The Lord does not need us to do that.
• What matters is that we agree with His high opinion about us and live according to His word.
• This will reduce our ability to fall.
• We do not have to become holy before we put out trust in the Lord. If we did, it will be pride and disobedience to God.
• Rather, we have to acknowledge our imperfect selves before the Lord and walk with him by grace.
