Thursday’s Nuggets From Pastor Sunday.

NEVER LEND MONEY TO PEOPLE!

• I am sure many people will be surprised by my statement – never lend money to people!

• You might be thinking, “Why shouldn’t I help someone in need, especially a friend?”

• Jesus said, if someone asks you, give (see Matt 5:42)

• This is part of his principle of loving ones enemies.

• Notice that Jesus did not say LEND, but GIVE. These are two different things.

• Never lend out what you are not willing to lose or donate.

• I am saying this because, this practice spoils relationships more than anything else, especially when people fail to give back the money.

• If you have decided to lend money, don’t be surprised if you don’t get it back.
