SUCCESS DOESN’T GUARANTEE HAPPINESS.
- Eventually successful people realize two things: there must be hard work to be successful, and monetary success by itself is not happiness.
- Many are disappointed to find nothing, but emptiness at the top: “Have I worked all my life for this, to end up empty and alone? Is that all there is?” These are some of the sad conclusions of those who rely on their career as their source of inspiration in life.
- This is why we need principles and guidelines from the gospel. They become our foundation for our success as Christians.
- It is really very lonely and boring at the top, and being at the top should not be our goal.
- Our goal should be fulfilling Gods agenda and answering his call. If that takes us to the top, then so be it.
