WHAT QUALITIES MAKE A PERSONALITY?

Today, I wish to address the topic of qualities that make a personality. Thanks to the expository teachings of our contemporary theologians, we have come to establish beyond every reasonable doubt that a man is made up of spirit, soul and body.

In a total departure from a layman’s understanding of man, it is now clearly established that man is not just a body. Even though the body is what houses the real man, which is the spirit, we are now sure that our body is not us. Unfortunately, too many people still live as if to say that the body remains the paramount part of man.

Apart from the spirit and the body, it is now also established that the most functional part of man is actually the soul not the body as it was once largely thought. The soul is the command center from where man operates his mind, and mental prowess. The soul is also where we have the operational center for our emotions and feelings. The soul houses our will and the power by which we set everything else in motion.

All I have said above though is only describing the composition of man. Even though a human, that still does not qualify man to be a personality. To a large extent, many people do not give this concept serious thought; that you could be a man and at the same time not a personality. Fewer people would even dare to ask themselves what it would take for them to move from being an ordinary man into being a personality.

Not too many would pay the price to find out what characteristics or qualities it takes for a man to qualify to be called a personality. That is what we are going to examine in this article.

However before we go further into the list of qualities that qualify a man to be called a personality, I feel it might just do you my dear readers good to get to know my understanding of the term PERSONALITY.

There are basically three definitions of the word personality as seen below:

The combination of characteristics or qualities that form an individual’s distinctive character, lively, engaging qualities, a celebrity or famous person.

These definitions of the word personality, are not quite in agreement with the meaning I am attaching to the word in this article. I will take my time however to explain to you, the difference between my own use of the word personality and the common dictionary layman understanding that we are all used to.

From the above dictionary definition, the combination of characteristics or qualities that form an individual’s distinctive character, basically deals with describing a personality according to his or her physical features. It deals with what makes an individual the physical person that we can see. It is the natural distinctive features in different individuals. This definition is not by any means faulty or wrong, it is just what it is, what differentiates people from one another, using physical parameters.

Let’s look at the second definition of the word personality, which says a personality is a lively and engaging person. This definition talks more about the unique distinction of individuals. Liveliness and the engaging qualities of an individual flow from a man’s soul. This is also a legitimate definition that differentiates individuals from one another by their qualities of the soul. Some are jovial while others are moody. Some are engaging while others are aloof. People are different. In this case we say individuals have their distinctive personalities.

The third definition of the word personality as seen above, is probably what has come to take the center stage of our modern vocabulary. We all probably owe this to the emergence of Hollywood and the American subculture. Such is this influence, that whenever you use the word personality these days, most people tend to think, that we mean celebrity, superstar, VIP, glamour and extravagance.

Since this understanding of the word personality has become an accepted norm in our modern world, we cannot but accept it.

But you and I dear reader, are on another journey into the word personality. Yes, a journey. A journey of discovery. What you will be discovering in this article might be best described to some as an adventure. An adventure into a new meaning of the word personality. An adventure into how such personalities are built. An adventure into qualities that form, the kind of people we are going to be talking about in this article.

My own definition of the word personality is an attempt to put this word into use using our modern vocabulary in order to describe an old truth. The truth I am seeking to describe through the word personality is as old as the planet itself. It’s root can be traced back to the heart of God.

I will therefore describe personality as a person or an individual, who has successfully formed in himself qualities that now make him to be looked upon as a deliverer of some sort.

We could say that a personality is a person who has abandoned the mundane lifestyle of mere mortals. Someone who has gone beyond the concerns for his daily bread and personal survival. Someone who now lives for something of a higher cause. Someone that wants to make a difference in his world, environment and generation.

According to this description, a personality would be somebody who has decided to dedicate himself to a higher purpose. A man on a mission, not just to improve his own life and wellbeing. But, someone so consumed with the passion to make a difference in his environment and world at large.

It is for such men that God has always been in need of. Whenever you hear of God searching for a man, he is talking about men who have formed their personalities. Men who have made their choice. Men who have burned their bridges. Men who have decided not to look back. Men who have decided to leave their footprint on the sand of history. Men who have chosen to forgo comfort for the larger good of others. Thanks to their decision, they have become personalities. People who others emulate. People who live an exemplary life. To me, these are the real people more than anyone, who deserve to be referred to as personalities.

It is in this context therefore that I will be using the word personality, man or person in this article.

Again let me repeat that a personality in my interpretation of it, is the real man, the real person as expected by God. Unlike the ordinary person who bases his decisions mainly on how he feels at that particular time. A personality rather bases his decision on his value system. A personality is primarily driven by his goals. While an ordinary person is always driven by his needs.

A personality is not attached to things or people. At the same time an ordinary person has his whole life mingled up in the labyrinth of needs, problems and soul ties. While a personality is entangled with his vision of the future, an ordinary man is not sure of what awaits him tomorrow.

A personality bases all his decisions on the principle of pragmatism, while ordinary people base their decisions on the principles of expediency. Values play a major role in both the actions and reactions of a personality. On the other hand, most people would rather be focused on their present emotions.

While a personality puts the care and welfare of the community over and above his individual needs, most ordinary people would mainly put the needs of themselves and their families at the center of their lives. A personality is willing to risk his life and comfort to prove a point of conscience. While an ordinary person first of all considers his welfare and safety.

If a personality is always disturbed by injustice, lawlessness and the collapse of truth around him, the ordinary biological masses,  simply embrace the comfort of their lifestyle.

At this point my friends I wish to give you a list of concrete qualities that differentiates a personality from ordinary mortals. It is my hope that you will join the league of men and women who are tired of living a mediocre lifestyle and upgrade yourself into the company of history makers – PERSONALITIES.

1. A PERSONALITY NOTICES THE CHALLENGES OF HIS IMMEDIATE ENVIRONMENT.

Unfortunately, most people don’t see them. Most of the people you see around you, only think about themselves most of the time. Even though we all sometimes wonder what people think about us, some go to the extreme of getting worried and depressed just thinking about what people have been thinking about them. The truth of the matter though, is that most people you see are actually not thinking about you. They are all already too preoccupied by their own fears, worries and problems. It is mainly because of this that most people don’t notice the apparent challenges of their immediate environment.

“…that seeing they may see and not perceive, and hearing they may hear and not understand; lest they should turn, and their sins be forgiven them.” Mark 4:12

In most cases however, true personalities have been able to effectively deal with their inner struggles and challenges, enabling them to now have a seeing eye. That ability to see normally results in the birth of burdens, passion and pro-activeness in a lot of these people.

Friends, I pray that you will eventually become one of the few men of our generation whose eyes have been opened and now can see. I pray for you my dear readers that you will leave the company of those who have eyes, but lack sight. It is only such people who stand a great chance of making a difference in our broken world.

2. A PERSONALITY IS KNOWN BY HIS WILLINGNESS TO TAKE ON RESPONSIBILITIES.

If you are a normal person, by the world’s standard, then you will know that the normal thing to do when you see challenges, problems and troubles coming your way, is that you first of all save your own head. Not so with personalities. In their case, they actually seek for troubles.

“The price of greatness is responsibility.”   ― Winston S. Churchill

For a normal person, they are almost always inundated with their personal problems and family troubles. It is for these and other reasons that they usually will not find time for other people’s troubles talk less of looking for troubles.

Personalities however, are different. They are different thanks to their developed character, responsive attitude and overwhelming altruism. These people have worked on themselves in the secret hours of the night and now they are ready to take on anything. Personalities do have their own personal issues, family challenges or daily troubles but despite all they are going through personally, these people have come to learn one of the most important golden rules of life – that life is only worth living, if it is lived in service. They have discovered that as you give to others, you yourself get filled.

So personalities go and take on the challenges of their immediate environment, not because they don’t have their own challenges, but because they have worked on themselves to be ready for such an hour.

“Most people do not really want freedom, because freedom involves responsibility, and most people are frightened of responsibility.” ― Sigmund Freud

 3. A PERSONALITY KNOWS THE LAW OF DIFFERENCE AND LIVES BY IT.

The law of difference is one of the most important truths that healthy individuals live by. Thanks to the law of difference, personalities don’t just know their uniqueness, they are sure of them. They know what differentiates them from the pack. Personalities know the difference in things ordinary people don’t even see. It is easier for personalities to distinguish what is right from what is wrong. Thanks to this quality, they are able to get their priorities right. Unfortunately, most people in our world cannot get their priorities right. Personalities know when to do what is important. They know how to bypass the less important things of life.

Your Difference Decides Your Importance. –   Mike Murdock

Funny enough, ordinary men tend to spend more time on things of less importance. It is the law of difference that helps to differentiate between what is important and what is urgent. Personalities have mastered this kind of difference. When it comes to ordinary people however, it is a normal thing for them to forsake the important things in life and dedicate themselves to pursuing the urgent needs of the hour.

It is partly thanks to this misplacement of priorities by ordinary people which means they are not in a position to be able to discipline themselves in order to graduate into the status of a personality.

Friends, if you wish to leave your mark on the earth, you will need the law of difference. It will help you to know the things that are important in your life just like personalities have done. To shun the distractions that are pushing you away from the best you could become, you will need to embrace the law of difference.

The law of difference is the proof of wisdom. Only the wise operate in the law of difference. It takes wisdom to see difference in values, in people, in things, in decisions and in character. No wonder this quality propels personalities into another world of influence.

“Do more than belong: participate. Do more than care: help. Do more than believe: practice. Do more than be fair: be kind. Do more than forgive: forget. Do more than dream: work.” ― William Arthur Ward

4. PERSONALITIES ARE NOT SLAVES TO THEIR FEARS.

Fear is one of the most common and constant companions of humans on the earth. Alongside attributes like love, fear is a life companion whose company no one can escape. Despite it’s indelible presence, fear is not meant to control man. Personalities know this truth. Hence they have put fear in the place it duly belongs.

Fear is the main source of superstition, and one of the main sources of cruelty. To conquer fear is the beginning of wisdom. – Bertrand Russell

To normal people however, fear is not just a life companion that is remotely present in their lives. Fear has a stronger grip on a normal human being. Most people are actually under the constant control of fear, while others are in bondage to it, yet others are paralyzed by it.

“The fear of man brings a snare, but whoever trusts in the Lord shall be safe.” Prov. 29:25

On the other hand, personalities are those who have discovered how to tame fear and use it as their source of motivation to do more. Until you overcome fear my friends, you cannot truly become a personality. The only fear that real personalities entertain is the fear of not acting, or the fear of not doing enough. These are the types of fears that rather work to motivate and inspire you to achieve more and act faster.

On the contrary, most people in our world today are actually afraid of stepping out, starting something or risking a venture.

“The Only Thing We Have to Fear Is Fear Itself”- Franklin D. Roosevelt

Instead of being afraid of starting something or that you might not succeed in an endeavor, it is healthier to just start anyway. If there is anything to be afraid of, it is the fear of not venturing out, not risking or not daring. Once you overcome your fear, it is easy not just to become a personality, but to leave a mark in the history of your generation.

“Inaction breeds doubt and fear. Action breeds confidence and courage. If you want to conquer fear, do not sit home and think about it. Go out and get busy”. – Dale Carnegie

5. A PERSONALITY IS ALWAYS CONCERNED ABOUT THE DECLINE OF JUSTICE AND THE ADVANCEMENT OF INJUSTICE IN THE SOCIETY.

Most people I know, are concerned about the decline of justice and the advancement of injustice in the society. The only difference between people and personalities is that while people simply complain about these things, personalities act on them. Personalities take their concern for the decline of justice and they turn it into action.

It is a joy for the just to do justice, but destruction will come to the workers of iniquity. Prov, 21: 15

“I guess the only time most people think about injustice is when it happens to them.” ― Charles Bukowski,

Unfortunately, ordinary men, simply sit in their living rooms and hold conversations, usually condemning those who are supposed to be responsible for stopping the evil. Some people even go to the extent of writing columns and articles in the newspapers. Some talk on shows on the television, but none truly step out. This is what differentiates personalities from ordinary mortals, they act on their beliefs, they resist injustice and they are not indifferent by any means.

“In keeping silent about evil, in burying it so deep within us that no sign of it appears on the surface, we are implanting it, and it will rise up a thousand fold in the future. When we neither punish nor reproach evildoers, we are not simply protecting their trivial old age, we are thereby ripping the foundations of justice from beneath new generations.” ― Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn,

Dear friends, is the question of justice a major concern to you at your work place? In your nation? In your immediate community? Do you even notice it? If yes, what are you doing about it? Are you setting up a system to establish and enforce justice? Do you have a campaign or crusade against injustice? Do you expose injustice in your nation? Do you bring to light the hidden secrets of injustice that make it prevalent in the nation? Personalities are men of justice. They are crusaders for righteousness and campaigners against all manners of injustice. They cannot sit down or sleep while they know of the progression of injustice around them. This is what makes us respect them. We honor them for sacrificing their comfort for the good and wellbeing of others.

“Evil men do not understand justice, but those who seek the Lord understand all”. Prov. 28:5

“Injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere.” ― Martin Luther King Jr.

6. A PERSONALITY IS SOMEONE WHOSE PRIMARY CONCERN IS FOR THE TRUTH

To an ordinary person, truth could be circumstantial, it applies only when the conditions are right. To others, truth is conditional. That is; truth could be applied when the conditions are right. Yet to another group of people, truth could be flexible. But to a personality, truth is always absolute and constant. Personalities base their decisions only on the truth. Personalities judge their decisions only by the standard of the truth. Personalities don’t compromise the standard of truth that is revealed to them. Their actions are gauged by how truthful it is. They seek the truth, they are interested in the truth. They study the truth. To a personality, truth is their lifetime love. They would rather prefer not to live at all than not to live for the truth. They know that one person on the side of the truth is the majority. Personalities know that truth cannot be destroyed or extinguished. Personalities know that truth prevails all the time and lies fail all the time.

“A lie is a lie even if everyone believes it. The truth is the truth even if nobody believes it.” — David Stevens

Ladies and gentlemen, for us to become true personalities, we must first become disciples of the truth. We should not just like the truth but we must love the truth. We should not just talk about the truth but we must live the truth. It is only then that the truth will begin to fight for us, the truth would begin to promote us, and the truth would begin to create platforms and territories for us.

“The truth will set you free, but first it would piss you off” ― Gloria Steinem

 7. A PERSONALITY IS SOMEONE WHO IS STRICTLY GUIDED BY HIS CONSCIENCE.

The conscience is God’s heartbeat planted in man. It is a way of God putting part of Himself in us. Conscience is God’s reminder of our divinity. It is supposed to act as that invincible guiding angel whose instructions we follow.  Unfortunately though, too many people have seared their conscience, by their continuous negligence of it or by their utter disobedience to its leading. But in every society however, we can find men and women who despite the risk involved would rather prefer to live by their conscience. They follow its leading and they carry out its instructions, making them to be much closer to God and His heartbeat. These people are the true personalities of our society. They do not go against their heart. They don’t act against their conscience. Hence they cannot pass by the society’s needs.

There is no witness so dreadful, no accuser as terrible as the conscience that dwells in the heart of every man.” ― Polybius

Personalities are sensitive people. They are sensitive to the leading of God in their lives. Ordinary people however, too often neglect the leading of their conscience. Some even go to the extent of silencing their conscience. Most people prefer convenience and peace of mind to living by conscience.

“Who show the work of the law written in their hearts, their conscience also bearing witness, and between themselves their thoughts accusing or else excusing them.” Rom.2:15

Personalities know that anything that matters to God, matters to them. The ordinary individuals are always concerned and afraid of inflicting on themselves personal pain if they follow their conscience. They don’t follow their conscience because they want to live in their so called safety and comfort. Real personalities change themselves and change the world around them, thanks to the fact that they have decided to follow their conscience.

“A man’s conscience can tell him his situation better than seven watchmen in a lofty tower”. – Ben Sira

My dear readers, let us purify our conscience once again. Let us ask the blood of Jesus to purify our hearts from all unrighteousness. Let us believe that the Holy Spirit will quicken our conscience so that we might become the personalities that God wants us to be.

“To the pure all things are pure, but to those who are defiled and unbelieving nothing is pure; but even their mind and conscience are defiled.” Titus 1:15

8. PERSONALITIES EQUIP THEMSELVES

Real personalities don’t leave themselves where life has placed them. They continuously work on themselves, equip themselves and make themselves better. Personalities build themselves into a fortress, a power house of knowledge, an arsenal of wisdom.

“Study to show thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.” 2 Tim. 2:15

Personalities perfect their characters, they solidify their faith so as to be able to face all the challenges of life that they need to face. Normal people don’t normally have time to build themselves up as necessary. When they study, they usually just study to get a job. Ordinary people connect education to school, universities, and institutions of learning and to certificates. While personalities study because they want to improve their qualities.

“Make the most of yourself….for that is all there is of you.” ― Ralph Waldo Emerson

The impact you make on the world has a direct relation to what you have been able to build up in yourself. Personalities have an unquenchable desire to be the best. This might be a common feature for most ambitious people but with personalities, they want to be the best in order to serve the best and sacrifice the best. Ordinary people want to be best so that they can get a better job, better salary, better employment and better living conditions.

“Formal education will make you a living; self-education will make you a fortune.” ― Jim Rohn

Ordinary people always find themselves helpless in the face of daunting circumstances, because they are not adequately prepared for them. While personalities strive to be powerful and influential in order to be able to help others. Most people are rather afraid of being in the limelight because they are concerned about their safety. They are worried about their reputation. They don’t want to be soiled by public opinion. But personalities know better. They know their lives are given only as a service to humanity.

“You are essentially who you create yourself to be and all that occurs in your life is the result of your own making.” ― Stephen Richards

Ladies and gentlemen, how have you been in regards to arming yourself for exploits? God is awaiting your response. Will you become a personality that pleases and gladdens His heart or not?

9. PERSONALITIES ARE PEOPLE WITH CORE VALUE SYSTEMS.

Personalities are people who have taken the time to form in themselves a concrete value system. Their daily lives and activities are all a reflection of their value system.

“The first principle of value that we need to rediscover is this: that all reality hinges on moral foundations. In other words, that this is a moral universe, and that there are moral laws of the universe just as abiding as the physical laws.” – Martin Luther King Jr.

Personalities are people of values and virtues. They fight on a daily basis to promote and influence their world with their values. Personalities are people on a mission. They have a mission of changing the world around them to reflect their values. Personalities want everybody to be like them as it relates to their values. That is what Jesus did. He brought the values of the Kingdom of God to have an impact on the planet earth. Moreover, as He was leaving the earth, He charged His disciples with a mission to infect the whole world with those kingdom values. Until they do that, He would not come back to get them. That is the life we are all called to live, a life of impact, a life of virtues, a life that makes a difference.

“Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Amen. Matt 28:19- 20

God’s passion is that the values of the Kingdom of God would become the values of every person on the earth. Personalities carry a similar passion. They want people to cease being biomasses, but rather to become people with a core value system. On the other hand, ordinary men may not even know what it means to have a value system. They just live based on what they learned from their parents and their immediate environment. These people don’t have explanations for most of their actions, they do things because that is what every other person does around them. They follow patterns that they did not design. They repeat patterns that were not made up by them. They repeat the mistakes of the ancient.

Values aren’t buses… They’re not supposed to get you anywhere. They’re supposed to define who you are.” ― Jennifer Crusie

Ladies and gentlemen, it is of no essence to live without a concrete value system. Our lives must reflect our values. Our values must reflect our source and our destination. Since God is our source and heaven our destination, it only makes sense to live for the values of the Kingdom of God.

It’s not hard to make decisions when you know what your values are. – Roy Disney

 10. A PERSONALITY IS WILLING TO DIE FOR HIS BELIEFS

As said by Martin Luther King Jr.

“If you’ve Got Nothing worth Dying For, You’ve got nothing worth Living For”

The people who live great lives, the real personalities of this world are those who are no more afraid of dying. Only those who are ready to die, make a difference in their world. They might be criticized, loved or hated, but they leave their mark in the sand of history.

Personalities don’t just have beliefs, they are obsessed with their beliefs. They believe in them so much that they would rather give their lives in exchange for them, rather than suffer a failure of their ideals. It is when people are ready to die for something that they actually get to live. Those who are, on the other hand, afraid of losing their lives, will eventually lose them. Jesus says whenever you are ready to sacrifice something for His purposes, you keep it but when you are too stingy to let go, you lose it.

“Get busy living, or get busy dying.” – Stephen King

Death – the fear of death is the most horrible of all fears. It is this fear that more than anything else keeps most people from daring. It is this fear that has created the most paralysis in our world. This fear controls the biggest prison yard where it keeps its captives. It is only due to this fear that we don’t have more and more personalities on a daily basis.

“What is a fear of living? It’s being preeminently afraid of dying. It is not doing what you came here to do, out of timidity and spinelessness. The antidote is to take full responsibility for yourself – for the time you take up and the space you occupy. If you don’t know what you’re here to do, then just do some good.”- Maya Angelou

True personalities have lost the fear of death, as a result, when you are ready to die, you can no more be afraid. Actually, the most important key to overcoming the fear of death is dying to self.

As is commonly said every problem carries in itself a solution. When we die every day to our will and wishes then we can no longer be afraid of death because we are already dead.

If you realize that all things change, there is nothing you will try to hold on to. If you are not afraid of dying, there is nothing you cannot achieve. – Lao Tzu

Ladies and gentlemen, I would advise you to count yourself as dead, thereby setting yourself free from the clutches of its fear. So you can be free to do more exploits for God and His Kingdom.

“For to me, to live is Christ, and to die is gain.” Phil 1:21

11. PERSONALITIES CREATE LEVERAGES BY WHICH THEY MOVE THEIR WORLD.

The famous quotation by the ancient mathematician Archimedes, best describes the modus operandi of personalities. Most personalities are strategic in their line of thinking and actions. They don’t just run about trying to change the world without adequate preparations. Real personalities create a leverage point for themselves, from where they change their world and the world around them.

“Give me a lever long enough and a fulcrum on which to place it, and I shall move the world.”- Archimedes

The people who change the world don’t just rely on their charisma and their petty gift, they take their time to build and construct a long enough lever which later provides the necessary leverage to accomplish their goals. Moreover, they first invest themselves in establishing fulcrums which they can later fall back on when the going gets tough. They make enough preparation so as not to give themselves any excuse or chance of failure.

“Victorious warriors win first and then go to war, while defeated warriors go to war first and then seek to win.” – Sun Tze

If you, ladies and gentlemen, choose to become a personality that makes a difference in your world, you might want to listen to the advice of Archimedes. Develop some of your gifts to the point that they will become your footholds. Become so good in something, so much that even your enemies will have to acknowledge your expertise. Create for yourself a pivotal point, better still several, from where you can impose your ideals on your generation.

Unfortunately, ordinary men and women are too preoccupied with their daily survival to think about the Archimedes principle.

In some cases your foothold could be a large support base that is so large and strong that you become indestructible. That is where God has helped me in Ukraine, because our church has become so large and influential that it is almost impossible to stop it.

In other cases, non-governmental organizations (NGOs) could be spread all over the nation, so due to these activities, you would be able to wield an incredible amount of authority. People are always the best pivotal points. A strong financial base could become a leverage point through which the world could be touched. Political influence could be helpful in some cases. Fame is also a form of influence that could become a pivotal point.

All men can see these tactics whereby I conquer, but what none can see is the strategy out of which victory is evolved. – Sun Tze

There are so many ways that you could fortify yourself through your pivotal point to be able to move the world as said by Archimedes. Unfortunately, ordinary mortals don’t think about these things, to them this is like rocket science just like calculus mathematics that was designed by Archimedes.

12. PERSONALITIES ARE PEOPLE OF ZEAL.

Zeal is a volcano, the peak of which the grass of indecisiveness does not grow. – Khalil Gibran

Personalities are people of unquenchable zeal. Their passion is crazy. It is this zeal that propels them into more and more ventures. It is thanks to this zeal that they cannot sit idle. It is the zeal that makes them unable to be indifferent. It is due to this zeal that they cannot afford to be wasted. This zeal equates life. Without it life itself loses meaning. The reason why many people in our world today are groaning in depression is because they lack this revolutionary zeal of personalities.

“The volume of your impacts is measured by the direction of your movements, the passion with which you inspire and the attitudes by which you make an influence!” ― Israelmore Ayivor

Ladies and gentlemen why don’t you consider rather sacrificing yourself and living a fulfilled life rather than being in a state of depression and unfulfillment. Even Jesus accomplished His feat on the earth only thanks to the zeal that He had.

“And saviors shall come up on mount Zion to judge the mount of Esau; and the kingdom shall be the Lord’s.” Oba. 1:21

Zeal gives birth to saviors according to this verse above. It is zeal that gives birth to personalities and personalities become a form of savior to their generation.  Even our Lord Jesus Christ was only able to become the Savior He was born to be thanks to that same virtue – ZEAL

“Of the greatness of his government and peace there will be no end. He will reign on David’s throne and over his kingdom, establishing and upholding it with justice and righteousness from that time on and forever. The zeal of the LORD Almighty will accomplish this.” Isa. 9:7

“One person with a divine purpose, passion and power is better than 99 people who are merely interested. Passion is stronger than interest.” ― Israelmore Ayivor,

Ladies and gentlemen, let us rekindle our zeal for the things of the Lord. Without this zeal no one accomplishes much on the earth. It is only with zeal that we can affect the world and make it a better place.

“I know your deeds that you are neither cold nor hot; I wish that you were cold or hot. So because you are lukewarm, and neither hot nor cold, I will spit you out of My mouth.” Rev. 3:15-16

Unfortunately many people prefer just to have a quiet and peaceful life.  Because of that, they are afraid of getting involved in anything that would disrupt their family. We need to be hot to gain the approval of the Lord Jesus Christ. Lukewarmness is a sign of death in this Kingdom.

Dear friends, here we are coming to the end of this rather long article. It is due to my passion to see personalities raised up in the Kingdom of God. Please excuse me for this indulgence. I thought I should give you the best I have got to help equip you and release you for the heavenly mandate, that is upon your life.  It is my prayer that this article would help you to become all that God has ever dreamed for you to become.
