THE SECERT OF THE GREATEST WEALTH YOU HAVE
When you were born, including every individual on earth with no exception, the rich and the poor; the developed and developing nations; black and white; the only thing we all have in equal measure is TIME! The moment a baby is born, the baby is given 24 hours. Time, therefore, is the greatest wealth that every one of us has been endowed with by God.
Everything comes from time. You are a product of nine months of conception. Similarly, you did not start walking or talking immediately after you were born. It took time to learn how to do these things. And this is the same thing in every nation and among every race on earth.
The skills you have today took a lot of practice to perfect. Most of the things you do unconsciously today took time to develop. A skillful football player is a product of hours of practice. A skillful instrumentalist has a story to tell of his ordeal in rehearsals. You are a product of time.
You might want to argue that some are born with special talents. True, in fact very true. But you also need to differentiate between raw gold and refined gold. Raw gold is unattractive, dirty, difficult to find and could even be trampled underfoot by anyone without knowing. But take the time to refine the same gold and the price and value will amaze you. It is not enough to be born with special talents; your value will skyrocket if those talents of yours are refined and polished.
Refining gold involves removing impurities from the raw gold and it must have spent hours in a hot burning furnace. The hours spent in refining this gold is what changed the value from a dirty, unattractive stone to an expensive jewelry.
It is the conversion of time that refines raw talents into world acclaimed celebrities. It is the investment of time into perfecting a skill or skills that give birth to celebrities, billionaires, inventors, entrepreneurs, Olympic Gold medalist and so on.
It is the conversion of time that divides people into class. It is this same conversion of time that creates disparities between the developed and the underdeveloped countries in the world. Time, therefore, is the greatest wealth. And you have it at your disposal irrespective of your economic status, race or class.
