We to have taken on our grandsons. But from birth. And we to were mumma's and grandad but as they entered kinda and school all kids called parents mum and dad and so we told the boys that is was OK as we were something to everyone mum dad auntie uncle etc so it was up to them.
They are now 7 and I do hope we give the what you have received from your grandparents and they value life foe what it is not what brought them to us
