Farshid Fathi and his family have received a long overdue gift, just in time for Christmas. Jailed for more than five years for his faith, the Iranian government has finally released the pastor from prison.
Word of his release came today from Elam Ministries.
Pastor Farshid was arrested in December 2010 during a raid of his house church. He was charged with taking « actions against national security. » Translation? He was leading Muslims to faith in Christ and planting house churches.
During his time of incarceration, we provided regular updates about his imprisonment and torture.
We rejoice with his family this Christmas season and CBN News joins Elam and Christians around the world in continued prayer for this amazing man of faith and his family!
