University Final Year Student Builds A working Solar-Powered Tricycle As His project In Nigeria.

Ekomobong Finbarr has successfully produced and defended this solar powered tricycle as his first degree project in partial fulfillment for the award of a degree in Electrical Engineering, Federal University of Technology, (FUTO), Owerri. It took him just few weeks to produce the tricycle. The tricycle does not have an engine but is powered by a battery and solar energy. When test driven by his lecturers and Head of Department, Mr. Damian Dike, it was discovered that the tricycle goes 11km without blinking. Lecturers of FUTO who were completely stunned that he could put this together said they are proud of the achievement of Ekomobong. futo-keke Mr. Damian Dike and his colleague, Dr. Achumba enjoyed the first cruise of the Keke.
